On May 8, 2024, BLB&G will host a special CLE (Continuing Legal Education) event presented by the Federal Bar Council at its New York office on 1251 Avenue of the Americas.
The event will feature a panel discussion titled “Insight on Oversight: The Dynamics of Effective Institutional Monitoring” that will focus on determining how to design effective institutional monitorships and ensure they create meaningful and lasting change.
The panel will feature BLB&G partner Jeroen van Kwawegen alongside a distinguished group of professionals, including the Honorable Loretta A. Preska (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY), Katya Jestin (Partner, Jenner & Block LLP), Lev L. Dassin (Partner, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP), and Brande Stellings (Principal, Vestry Laight LLC).
BLB&G partner Rebecca Boon and associates Brittney Balser and Margaret Sanborn-Lowing played key roles in organizing this event. Rebecca is a founding member of Beyond #MeToo, a working group dedicated to creating corporate compliance and management structures that prevent workplace misconduct and abuses of power.
