The Spring 2006 issue of Lawdragon, a national legal periodical, features BLB&G partner Max Berger and former partner Sean Coffey among its "500 Leading Litigators in America."Mr. Berger and Mr. Coffey recently served as co-lead counsel for the New York State Common Retirement Fund in In re WorldCom, Inc. Securities Litigation, which yielded an unprecedented recovery for defrauded investors of over $6.15 billion, and "has shaken Wall Street, the audit profession and corporate boardrooms." (Wall Street Journal) Mr. Berger was the lead attorney on the team which successfully prosecuted and obtained a $960 million recovery for investors in In re McKesson HBOC, Inc. Securities Litigation.
