BLB&G partner John Rizio-Hamilton will speak at the FBC Fall Bench and Bar Retreat on October 19. Alongside distinguished legal professionals, John will join a panel moderated by Judge Victor A. Bolden of the District of Connecticut to discuss the impact of three Supreme Court cases where BLB&G serves as lead counsel: Macquarie, NVIDIA, and Facebook. These cases have the potential to significantly influence investors’ ability to recover for corporate wrongdoing.
John is Co-Head of BLB&G’s Securities Litigation Department. He has recovered billions for investors on behalf of the firm, including the $2.425 billion settlement in Bank of America Securities Litigation and the $240 million recovery in the landmark Signet Jewelers Securities Litigation case. He has been recognized as a “Litigation Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal and a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation, among other honors. Most recently, John led a presentation titled “Where There's Smoke: An Inside Look into the Investigations Behind the Largest Financial Scandal” at the FPPTA Trustee School.
