On March 6, BLB&G will host a special Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event presented by the Federal Bar Council at our New York office on 1251 Avenue of the Americas.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the event will feature a panel discussion titled “CLE: Raising the Bar: A Conversation with Women Judges and Lawyers on Mentorship and Success.” The panel will feature a group of distinguished women in the legal profession, including three federal judges, sharing their experiences and insights on the importance of mentorship, overcoming challenges, and achieving success in their careers.
Panelists include the Honorable Jessica G.L. Clarke (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY), the Honorable Denise Cote (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY), the Honorable Nina R. Morrison (Judge, U.S. District Court, EDNY), and Rachel G. Skaistis (Partner, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP). BLB&G Partner Hannah Ross will act as moderator.
Partner Rebecca Boon also played a key role in organizing this event. Rebecca is a founding member of Beyond #MeToo, a working group dedicated to creating corporate compliance and management structures that prevent workplace misconduct and abuses of power.
