Eric J. Riedel is an associate in the governance department practicing out of the firm’s New York office, prosecuting corporate governance and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investor clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he represented clients in regulatory investigations and complex commercial, securities, and derivative litigation, and maintained an active pro bono practice, including Freedom of Information Act and Fair Housing Act litigation and Social Security Disability appeals.
Eric received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as an articles editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. Before attending law school, Eric served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
