Law360 has recognized BLB&G partner Avi Josefson as one of its Rising Stars for 2015 in the securities category, naming him among an elite group of “attorneys under 40 whose legal accomplishments belie their age.” Selected from over 1000 nominations nationally for his career accomplishments, Mr. Josefson will be profiled by Law360 in the coming weeks.
Mr. Josefson prosecutes securities litigation for the firm's institutional investor clients and advises them on potential legal claims as a member of the new matter department. He is also a member of the firm's subprime litigation team and the firm's corporate litigation practice. He has participated in many of the firm's significant representations, including In re SCOR Holding (Switzerland) AG Securities Litigation, which resulted in a recovery worth in excess of $143 million.
