BLB&G Director of European Client Development Anatoli van der Krans to Speak at International Investors’ Conference in Vienna

On October 13, 2023, BLB&G Director of European Client Development Anatoli van der Krans will serve as a panelist at the Institutional Investors’ Conference in Vienna. Featuring legal and financial experts, Anatoli’s panel, “Collective Redress & ESG: the cases of Airbus, Credit Suisse, Wirecard & 21st Century Fox,” will address how investors can use shareholder litigation to demand significant ESG improvements. Anatoli will provide greater insight into the topic by highlighting BLB&G’s shareholder derivative litigation against Fox News parent 21st Century Fox.

This year’s conference, titled “Upholding Sustainable & Accessible Capital Markets for European Investors,” will explore a range of topics concerning capital market advancement in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the Retail Investment Strategy formulated by the European Commission, sustainability reporting standards, the status of pensions in Austria and Europe, and Collective Redress and ESG considerations. The event is jointly organized by the Interessenverband für Anlegern (IVA), the Austrian Shareholder Association, and BETTER FINANCE, the European Federation of Investors and Financial Services Users.

As BLB&G’s Director of European Client Development, Anatoli assists the firm in advising European institutional investors on developing and implementing shareholder litigation policies, and on new and pending securities fraud and corporate governance litigations. Anatoli regularly meets European investors personally to provide practical advice and insights, including with respect to internal processes and policies. He frequently speaks at conferences around Europe, including BLB&G’s 2023 Institutional Shareholder Conference in Paris and the 2022 Natixis CIB Green Summit.
