On November 29, 2022, BLB&G Director of European Client Development Anatoli van der Krans will speak on the “Greenwashing conundrum” panel at the Natixis CIB Green Summit in Paris. Joined by finance researchers and strategists, the panel will help decipher this ESG phenomenon, drawing safeguards, mitigation processes, and action plans, as well as discussing potential litigation risks and European and American initiatives surrounding disclosure, funds classification, labeling requirements, transparency, and accountability.
The Natixis CIB Green Summit is a one-day in-person event intended to provoke thoughtful discussions on both the current position and future of sustainable finance. This year’s conference will consist of a mix of plenary interventions, workshops, technical open stages, and a role-play game where participants will be invited to react to the fallout of a “climate financial crisis.” Core discussion topics will notably include net zero promises and deadlocks, the nexus between inflation and transition, the quest for adaptation finance, greenwashing mitigation, ESG data use, and the potential role and pitfalls of carbon offsets.
