BLB&G Again Achieves Top Rankings for Securities Litigation and Delaware Chancery in Chambers USA 2024

Chambers USA has once again listed BLB&G as the top firm in the nation for plaintiff-side securities litigation work in its 2024 guide.

BLB&G earned “Band 1” rankings for securities litigation in the Nationwide, New York, and California categories, and for plaintiff-side chancery work in Delaware. BLB&G has received top rankings for securities litigation every year since Chambers created the category to recognize a select number of firms performing plaintiff-side work. This is the firm’s second consecutive year achieving top rankings in all four categories.  

The Chambers guide includes several commendations from the firm’s clients, including, “Bernstein Litowitz is wonderful. They are organized, can answer any question and have a quick turnaround”; “Their lawyers are excellent. They’re smart and aggressive. It’s one of the best plaintiff’s firms”; and “Bernstein Litowitz has deep knowledge and the resources to explain and guide clients through matters.”

Individually, Chambers recognized partners Max Berger, Salvatore Graziano, Hannah Ross, Jerry Silk, Katie Sinderson, Jon Uslaner, and Greg Varallo among an elite group of practitioners in the field.

Max Berger, ranked Band 1 in New York for Litigation: Securities: Plaintiffs, is noted by Chambers as having “secured some of the largest recoveries ever achieved in securities fraud lawsuits.” The publication notes that Max “offers notable strength in high-stakes class action and derivative lawsuits.”

Salvatore Graziano, ranked Band 1 in New York for Litigation: Securities: Plaintiffs, is described by quoted sources as “a dedicated and talented litigator and a leader in the firm who teaches by example.”

Hannah Ross, elevated to Band 2 in New York for Litigation: Securities: Plaintiffs, is recognized as “a trusted and tireless advocate for clients' interests.” Sources note her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients, saying, “I can call her for anything I need, even when not on a case.”

Jerry Silk, elevated to Band 1 in New York for Litigation: Securities: Plaintiffs, is “recognized for his expertise in a range of cases on the plaintiff side. He is highly experienced in cases involving RMBS, as well as M&A litigation and accountants' liability cases.” His leadership is described by quoted sources as “top-notch.”

Katie Sinderson, ranked Band 3 in New York for Litigation: Securities: Plaintiffs, is a new addition to the Chambers USA guide. She is recognized by Chambers as “an experienced securities litigator with a strong track record assisting investors with securities fraud class actions.” Sources praise her as “a skilled litigator who has an excellent sense of client needs.

Jonathan Uslaner, ranked Band 4 in California for Litigation: Securities: Mainly Plaintiffs, is described by Chambers as an “expert plaintiff securities litigator with a wealth of experience in leading direct and class actions.” He is described by quoted sources as “smart and tenacious…a sharp and hard-working attorney.”

Greg Varallo, ranked Band 1 in Delaware for Chancery: Mainly Plaintiffs, is noted by Chambers as “a respected litigator active on behalf of plaintiff clients in a range of corporate disputes” who “acts across matters including derivative actions and fiduciary duty concerns.”
