BLB&G Partner Hannah Ross served as a panelist at the National Council on Teacher Retirement's (NCTR's) 100th Annual Conference, which took place on October 9, 2022. Hannah spoke on the Federal Relations/Legal Panel, “Public Pensions and Washington, D.C. – A Discussion of the Intersects of Advocacy, Law, and Politics,” which discussed the latest Federal legislative and regulatory issues that ranged from the implications of the possible change in control of the Congress for Federal regulation of governmental plans, to how the judicial process can be utilized to help advance corporate governance and DE&I reforms. Hannah has spoken at previous NCTR events and is frequently called upon to speak at other pension and securities related conferences around the country.
The National Council on Teacher Retirement (NCTR) is constituted as an independent association dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of public retirement systems in the United States and its territories to which teachers belong and to promoting the rights and benefits of all present and future members of the systems.
