On November 10, 2023, BLB&G Partner Rebecca Boon will moderate the “ESG and Gatekeepers” panel at ILEP’s November 2023 Symposium. Rebecca’s panel will discuss cutting-edge issues in ESG, including the different voting rights possessed by shareholders and the role of transactional lawyers in shaping ESG policy. We are excited to note that for the first time ever, ILEP’s annual event is featuring all women.
BLB&G is proud to support the ILEP–Penn Carey Law Journal of Business Law Symposium, as well as ILEP in its mission to preserve, study, and enhance investor and consumer access to the civil justice system. In addition to Rebecca’s contributions to the foundation, BLB&G Partner Salvatore Graziano serves as a member of ILEP’s Advisory Board.
Rebecca regularly lectures at law schools, universities, and conferences in the U.S. and abroad on the topics of ESG, social change, sexual harassment, and shareholder litigation. Most recently, Rebecca was a key organizer for the Beyond #MeToo Working Group’s Senior Level Workshop. Rebecca is one of the group’s co-founders and will be addressing attendees regarding the mission of Beyond #MeToo and its impact to date. Rebecca is continually recognized for her achievements, including being named one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers” and “500 Leading Lawyers in America.” Rebecca has also been named multiple times over to Benchmark Litigation's "40 and Under Hot List.”
