On April 25, 2023, BLB&G Partner Rebecca Boon will serve as a panelist at the NERA Insights webinar “Recent Trends in Securities Class Action Litigation.” Joining NERA experts and class action plaintiff and defense lawyers, Rebecca will engage in discussions surrounding recent trends in filings, motion practices, and settlements in securities class action litigation. The panel will also consider potential developments in the upcoming year as the webinar addresses key findings in NERA’s annual report “Recent Trends in Securities Class Actions Litigation: 2022 Full-Year Review.”
Rebecca regularly lectures at law schools, universities, and conferences in the U.S. and abroad on the topics of ESG, social change, sexual harassment, and shareholder litigation. She has been recognized for her achievements in numerous publications, including being named: a "Rising Star" by Law360 and Thomson Reuters, a "Rising Star of the Plaintiffs Bar" by The National Law Journal, a "Young Lawyer of the Year" by The American Lawyer, and one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Lawyers in America” and “500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers.” Rebecca has also been named multiple times over to Benchmark Litigation's "40 and Under Hot List.”
In addition to her work litigating securities fraud and shareholder rights, Rebecca has advanced equality in the workplace by co-founding the Beyond #MeToo Working Group and leading landmark recoveries that have resulted in important social change among industries.
