Partner Anya Freedman Joins BLB&G Los Angeles Office

BLB&G has expanded the firm's Los Angeles office with the addition of Partner Anya Freedman, bringing additional strength and depth to the Los Angeles office and enhancing the firm's ability to serve clients in California and beyond.

As the former principal legal advisor to the City of Los Angeles’ public pension systems, Anya brings a wealth of experience advising institutional investors on fiduciary law and governance matters. Her deep understanding of the unique challenges facing public pension funds empowers leaders to build best-in-class policies and make sound strategic decisions in securities and corporate governance litigation.

At BLB&G, Anya will provide informed, innovative counsel to help the firm's clients protect the long-term value of their investments through shareholder litigation. She will also provide fiduciary training and advisory services to help clients address legal and management challenges, refine policies and processes, and stay informed of the latest developments.
