Director of European Client Development, Anatoli van der Krans, will speak at "The Financial Aspects of Collective Redress" seminar in Amsterdam on March 24, 2022. With new class action legislation in effect, Amsterdam has begun to serve as the center of filings or collective actions. Financing of collective actions has been especially challenging, given the prohibition against lawyers working on full contingency payment structures, making third-party litigation funding often unnecessary. Anatoli’s speech will focus on whether third-party litigation funding should be regulated or not.
