On March 9, 2023, BLB&G Partner Rebecca Boon will serve as a panelist at NautaDutilh’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Event and will speak on the panel, "Fueling Workplace Equality and Social Change: A U.S. Litigators Perspective." Speaking on subjects relating to #MeToo, Rebecca will highlight the importance of safeguarding a safe working environment, having proper policies in place, and noting the risks of not being compliant. Attendees will also hear about the latest developments in corporate governance, equity capital markets, public M&A, ESG, and technology.
In addition to her work litigating securities fraud and shareholder rights, Rebecca has advanced equality in the workplace by co-founding the Beyond #MeToo Working Group and leading landmark recoveries that have resulted in important social change across industries. The Beyond #MeToo Working Group is dedicated to understanding the root causes of workplace harassment, discrimination, and misconduct; tracking and constructively utilizing the insights gained through the #MeToo movement; and helping to create the optimal corporate compliance and management structures that prevent workplace misconduct and abuses of power.
