BLB&G Partner Li Yu to Serve as Program Chair of New York City Bar Association Webinar “Federal Court Practice 101”

BLB&G Partner Li Yu will serve as Program Chair for the New York City Bar Association’s CLE webinar, “Federal Court Practice 101: An Introduction to the Nuts & Bolts of Federal Civil Practice,” on April 28. The program provides a practical introduction to federal civil litigation for early-career attorneys or those transitioning from state to federal court. A panel of distinguished practitioners will walk attendees through key procedural stages and share strategic insights for effective advocacy in federal court.

Li practices out of the firm’s New York office. A seasoned trial and appellate lawyer, Li is a recognized expert in qui tam cases and has led groundbreaking False Claims Act litigation against Medicare Advantage organizations, drug manufacturers, pharmacy chains, medical device suppliers, and mortgage lenders. He has secured over $800 million in settlements for kickback schemes, risk adjustment fraud, drug marketing fraud, and pharmacy billing fraud.
