On May 13, BLB&G partner Katie Sinderson will speak on a panel titled “The Expert Report, Depositions and Managing the Expert Relationship” as part of Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) “Expert Witness 2024” program. Participants will learn how to draft an expert report and prepare an expert deposition, as well as gain insights on retaining and monitoring experts and managing the expert-attorney relationship.
PLI’s “Expert Witness 2024” program addresses the challenges of finding, retaining, and examining expert witnesses. Participants will learn how to select the right expert for a case, depose the opposing expert, master direct and cross examination of experts at trial, and more. The program is designed for litigators at all levels of practice and experience, including in-house counsel who are involved in or supervise litigation.
Katie specializes in advising and representing BLB&G clients in securities fraud actions, leading teams that have recovered billions of dollars for investors. In addition to her litigation duties, Katie serves as co-chair of the Federal Bar Council Securities Litigation Committee, and frequently speaks at bar association and industry events.
